Business Management Lead, Technical Services

The Business Operations Manager will support Head of Technical Services, D&A in managing the operating rhythm for activities within the group, and crafts operationalization of processes to improve efficiency and visibility.

They are also responsible for engaging with broader collaborators and setting up operating mechanisms that allow for clear communication, information flow and teamwork across the wider organisation.

Responsibilities:

Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the group by providing useful insights.
Coordinate the implementation of change programs. Lead, empower, mentor and develop project team members. Represents regions to global functions or vice versa. Contribute to business planning.
Facilitate close ties between Technical Services and Business Management groups and stakeholders in the broader LSEG business through the operating rhythm, reporting and planning activities.
Overall responsibility for preparation, delivery and presentation of key monthly dashboards and Management Information across the group assigned
Serve as the first point of contact for any business operations issues for the group assigned
Support related Programme Delivery and Programme Management processes to build and maintain visibility of the status and health of the portfolio
Contribute to driving efficiencies and effectiveness in the overall Business Operations processes

Experience & Knowledge Required:

Experience of managing business performance, ideally in Agile organisations
Experience of using various frameworks to implement e.g. Six Sigma, Balanced Scorecard etc
A track record of working with Excel and tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Dynamics to interpret reports, dashboards and produce visualisations.
Strong analytical, problem solving, collaboration and technical skills.
Ability to write financial reports and communicate summary information in a compelling way using a variety of formats
