Combat Isolation Team Leader


MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Combat Isolation is a bespoke service based across Liverpool, Sefton and Kirkby.

The team supports older adults (over 50) diagnosed with functional mental illness who have been affected by loneliness and isolation exacerbated by the impact of Covid.

The service has been designed to build confidence and increase independence through delivery of one-to-one support together with supporting the delivery of drop-in sessions and community-based activities.


The Project Administrator will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of the service, including client casework, communication with mental health teams, and the volunteer recruitment processes.

Additionally, the individual in this role will actively participate in various organizational administrative duties.


WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Project Administrator to join our Combat Isolation Team.

The Project Administrator will oversee all administrative aspects of the service including processing referrals, contact with referrers and mental health teams, supporting the team with correspondence, keeping client information up to date and volunteer recruitment processes.

The post holder will also contribute to some of the wider organisational administration duties.


We are looking for someone who is conscientious, outgoing and able to develop positive professional relationships with colleagues and outside organisations.

You will have an interest in supporting older people, volunteers and/or people living with mental health conditions, who can have a compassionate approach and maintain confidentiality and data protection at all times.

You should be confident in multitasking and managing conflicting priorities during busy periods.

You will be an excellent communicator who can deal with enquiries appropriately and sensitively, as well as strong skills in written communication.

You will be confident working without close supervision and be able to complete time-sensitive tasks.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Processing new referrals into the service including confirming receipt of referrals and contacting clients newly referred, allocating assessments to Inclusion Support Workers
  • Maintaining relevant paperwork for use by the team when completing assessments
  • Completing follow ups with clients and ensuring client paperwork is fully completed
  • Updating relevant databases with client impact measures for use in reporting
  • Contributing to the development of a regular newsletter for mental health teams
  • Organising team meetings, taking minutes and allocating actions
  • Support with general office administration as required
  • Strictly adhere to the organisations confidentiality and GDPR policy and procedures
  • Respecting the individuality, equality and diversity of clients coming into contact with the organisation
  • Participating in relevant training and professional development as required

Full-time, Fixed term contract
