We are looking to recruit caring and enthusiastic team players to join our care of the elderly teams. Do you have the passion to deliver a high standard of care to our older patients ?


You will be expected to demonstrate the ability to work calmly in a demanding, pressurised and often busy environment as part of a team striving to deliver the highest possible levels of care.

You will need to be able to demonstrate the qualities required to treat our patients with the dignity and respect they have a right to expect.

Part time hours are available.


You, as the Health Care assistant, will function as part of the multi-disciplinary team within the ward or department to provide a seamless service & high quality care to patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

This will be achieved through the performance of specific care tasks carried out after the successful programme of formal training and assessment.


You will assist in the planning, implementation, evaluation and delivery of care by providing support to registered staff, patients and their families and be expected to undertake care to meet the needs of the patients under the supervision of a qualified nurse, working within the Trust's policies and procedures and the philosophy of the ward.


You will work collaboratively as part of the ward team and be expected that you will continue to develop their own capabilities and knowledge of nursing tasks in line with the Trust's career pathway.
