Waltham Forestarea, together, we are seeking to appoint a talented, highly motivated, and enthusiastic HR Administrator to join them.

Role Specific

  • To carry out general office duties such as arranging team meetings and rooms, booking and
- confirming desks for the team when on campus

  • Preparing documents including slides and copying papers
  • Diary management, including booking meetings, highlighting where clashes occur and being proactive with suggesting alternative dates
  • To provide administrative support to committees and project group meetings (e.g. team meetings
- and consultation meetings), which will include preparatory work such as scheduling meetings,
- escalating any scheduling issues as appropriate, liaising with guest speakers, arranging catering and AV equipment, drafting agendas, circulating paperwork (which may be of a confidential and sensitive nature), taking minutes and action points.

  • To provide administrative support for activities and initiatives run by Strategic Support and POD, to ensure a joinedup approach between teams.
  • To provide administrative support for training arranged by Strategic Support
  • Export data from the staff survey analytics tool, to enable the Strategic HR Partners to analyse and discuss with managers.
  • To distribute reports / information as required to departments, and act as a liaison with key stakeholders in departments.
  • To create presentation slides as required

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to a minimum of A level standard or equivalent with GCSE English language and Maths grade A to C or equivalent
  • Qualification in administration, secretarial studies or similar
  • Experience of working as an administrator or in a similar role
  • Experience of working in a busy environment, prioritising own workload
  • Experience of using computer diary systems
  • Experience of general office financial duties (purchase orders, invoices)
  • Experience of Minute taking
  • Experience of providing a PA or secretarial service
  • Experience of working in the higher education sector
