Senior Back End Developer (Java)
Remote (UK Based)
Up to £65,000 + Benefits
As a Back End Developer you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for production of software for multiple products
- Improve the backend solution, framework selection and direction of the codebase
- Support production systems
- Support and train junior developers
- Work with Agile methodologies such as Kanban and Scrum
Skills and experience required for a Back End Developer**- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Experience of AWS, GCP or Azure Cloud
- Knowledge of Maven, Git and CI/CD principles
- Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- Experience with Java and Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate
- Experience with asynchronous messaging technologies
- Ability to design and developing HTTP APIs
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Desirable:
- RabbitMQ, Kafka
- Horizontally scalable, distributed, microservices architectures
- NoSQL databases such as Redis, Elasticsearch
- SQL databases such PostgreSQL
- Caching technologies, like Hazelcast
