The Board of Directors of Romero Catholic Academy Trust are looking to appoint a skilled, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to play a key strategic role in our evolving central team.

This is an exciting opportunity that would suit an experienced People Professional who is passionate about attracting talent, developing people and helping them flourish so that our pupils are supported by the best people.

We are a Catholic Academy Trust but this role does not require you to be of the Catholic faith.

However, you would have to be aligned to the Trust's vision and values and supportive of the Catholic ethos of our schools.

Essential Qualifications

Degree education and/or CIPD qualified to a minimum of Level 7

5 GCSEs including Maths and English Grade C or above

Essential Experience

At least 5 years' experience in HR management

Management of staff teams, including professional development and performance management

Experience of managing a busy ER caseload

Experience of working in the education sector

Experience of working effectively with trade unions and employee groups

Desirable Experience

Experience of working in a leadership team and understanding how teams function effectively

Project management, planning, managing and monitoring work

Experience of working in a Multi-Academy Trust

Supporting and advising senior leadership within an organisation
