Global Technology is leading the way across EMEA, and the GT Communications team wants you to be a part of it We need a dynamic communications professional that is ready to take on the challenge of supporting multiple technology centers and the EMEA Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Job Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Global Technology's employee communications, engagement and strategy for 7,000 technology employees spread across five locations.
  • Creating / supporting an engagement plan for increasing the visibility of the EMEA CIO across the region and globally.
  • Creating and delivering a robust communications and engagement plan to drive employee engagement and awareness of locationspecific initiatives and sitewide updates to approximately 2,000 employees in Glasgow.

About you

Responsibilities:


  • Write, edit and distribute targeted communications including executive messages, business updates, success / recognition stories, etc.
  • Work with the EMEA CIO Business Manager to proactively identify and implement engagement opportunities for the EMEA CIO.
  • Partner with EMEA Technology Center managers to develop and implement communication plans and programs that support and reinforce the Global Technology strategy, priorities and key programs.
  • Serve as communications advisor to EMEA Technology Center leadership teams, providing counsel and guidance on effective communication strategies, executive visits, key location events, etc.
  • Partner with other Global Technology and corporate communicators to crosspromote EMEA content in location and firmwide channels.
  • Develop and implement communications plans and programs that support and reinforce the Glasgow Corporate Center strategy, priorities and programs that fall outside the Technology Center remit (e.g., community engagement, site culture and improvements)

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Several years of prior experience in the field is required
  • Demonstrated success and direct experience developing executive level messages, providing communications counsel to senior leaders and executing strong communication plans.
  • Ability to excel in a matrix environment, both as an individual contributor and as part of the larger Global Technology Communications team.
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues at all levels, both in the organizations you support and with other communicators.
  • Experience in technology or financial services strongly preferred
