The Role:

We are looking to recruit a Clerical Officer to join the Medical Admin & Clerical Team at University Hospital Monkllands


Contract type:

Band 2 / Permanent Post / Part Time / 15 hours

What we'll need you to bring:

  • Educated to standard grade.
  • Knowledge of health records and/or qualification at SVQ level 2, ECDL or equivalent.
  • Customer care skills.
  • Computer literate and keyboard skills.
  • Experience in multi tasking.
  • Knowledge of Confidentiality and Data Protection.
  • Knowledge of handling and moving skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative (working alone).
  • Good interpersonal skills including an ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff at all levels.

It would be good if you also had:

  • Previous work experience in health records
  • Ability to work in a busy environment
