Overview:


We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support primary, secondary, and SEN schools across Southampton.

This role offers day-to-day, short-term, and long-term opportunities for those looking to gain experience in education and make a positive impact in the lives of students.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide support to classroom teachers in delivering lessons and facilitating learning activities.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts and provide additional support as needed.
  • Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
  • Support students with special educational needs in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians.

Requirements:


  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fastpaced school environment.
  • A willingness to learn and undertake training as required.
