Link2 Recruitment are currently recruiting a paint sprayer/finisher for their prestigious client that is a leading manufacturer of High-End Audio equipment.


Our client is an established and fast growing and highly successful state of the art Audio Equipment manufacturer that has gone through substantial growth in the last few years through the quality of the products they manufacture.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Paint Sprayer will oversee the clean and accurate painting of the external structure of the product, whilst ensuring to follow all health and safety standards.


Paint Sprayer main duties:


  • Verify paint specification & colour meets the specific requirement of the product, mix and use paint as per manufacturers instruction
  • Check all painting equipment is in good working order, notify the manager of any defects
  • Producing the required paint finish and lacquering, monitoring equipment operation and making any necessary adjustments to ensure the desired paint specification is achieved
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the painting process to ensure the finished product meets the desired standard
  • Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are followed, and PPE is always worn correctly
  • Assist in booth clean down, servicing and stock takes as required
  • Ensure all product disposal is in line with the company environmental policy
  • Assist other departments as required.
  • Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and risk assessments
  • Maintain a clean & safe workplace
  • Occasional requirement to work off site, customer repairs

Paint Sprayer desired skills and experience:

  • Must have at least 2 years spraying experience.
  • Must be highly motivated with a fastidious attention to detail and meticulous approach to their work.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physically capable of performing all roles within the team as required.
  • Ability to read & interpret documents, reports, drawings i.e., safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, manuals etc.
  • Prepared to undergo further development & training as required.
  • This position is working 9am 5pm Monday to Friday
  • The annual salary will be £20,500 £26,000 per annum dependent on experience.
  • Company Pension after qualifying period.
