Client Services Assistant, fast moving, successful business, Luton - £23,000 - £28,000


Our client, a well-established and reputable Promotional Materials agency are looking to add an experienced Client Services Assistant to their busy Head Office in central Luton.

As the successful Client Services Assistant, your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Meet or exceed reasonable pre-agreed performance expectations.
  • Acknowledge client requests and requirements promptly and manage client's requirements proactively and on time.
  • Professionally maintain good communications and relationships with clients.
  • Source interesting new ideas printed/decorated with our clients branding, to a brief, from our approved suppliers primarily located in Europe and Asia (all communications in English) and from other suppliers with the involvement of the Purchasing team.
  • Work proactively with the Purchasing team to ensure supplier records are kept up to date enabling efficient sourcing. This including monitoring Purchasing inbox and updating preferred supplier guide, participation in supplier and product reviews, and loggingand facilitating resolution of supplier issues.
  • Prepare quotes, PowerPoint presentations, quotation calculation sheets.
  • Ensure our client webshops are up to date in terms of product details, imagery, and translations and set up new products and SKU's in our SAP system.
  • Handle inbound questions and issues promptly and professionally as they arise and ensure they are monitored and supported through to satisfactory conclusion.
  • Assist with project planning for major initiatives.
  • Receive client orders and ensure the details are entered correctly onto our order management system (SAP) for the Operations Coordinator or Programs teams (as appropriate) to then process the order(s).

You will be:

  • Motivated and reliable individual with experience in sales, sales support, or close equivalent.
  • A desire and willingness to speak, and build a working relationship, with clients.
  • Demonstrable capability to manage multiple assignments at once with efficient and effective time management, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines, and maintain a highlevel of service to our clients.
  • Strong English and Maths capabilities.
