A fast-growing business based South of Birmingham has had an exciting opportunity come up within their finance team This position is a Finance Assistant with a heavier focus on sales ledger, this position will be looking after a range of responsibilitiessuch as processing invoices, raising invoices, reconciliation of the bank etc.

However, the focus on this role will be investigating and resolving finance queries, specifically, why invoices aren't being paid, these issues can be for a range of simple reasonsor sometimes more complex and it will be your responsibility to investigate and resolve them all


Ideally, you will:

  • Have previous experience working with queries or customer service.
  • Have strong customer service skills, due to the fact this this role requires a lot of liaising with clients.
  • Be confident on excel, this position will involve a range of reports that need auctioning for management.
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice period, our clients are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
