School Finance Assistant | £15 per hour | Berkshire | Temporary for 3 months initially


Butler Rose are pleased to be partnered with a leading prep school in the Berkshire area, who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join them on a temporary basis.

With an immediate start required, this role is temporary for 3 months initially.


Working in beautiful grounds, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Finance team and other areas of the school.


You will be responsible for:

  • Purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Liaising with parents in regards to the collection of school fees
  • Journal entries / Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Some involvement in Payroll
  • Immediately available
  • Have experience of working in an Educational setting (although not required)
  • Happy to have a DBS check processed (or are on the update service)
  • Have strong finance experience and are confident in picking things up quickly.
