Description

Acorn is recruiting for a Production Operative/FLT Driver for their mineral processing client based in Runcorn.

The role is initially temporary ongoing but may lead to a permanent position upon successful completion of a probation period

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

The pay rate is £11.53 per hour

Overtime is payable at enhanced rates between £17.30 and £23.06 per hour

There may be the requirement to work shifts 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm to cover holidays, sickness etc, the rate of pay for these hours is £13.

26 per hour

The role involves:

Manual Handling up to 25 kilo
Machine Operating
Working as part of a team to ensure the product is despatched on time
Liaising with drivers coming into site
Other production duties as directed

Previous production experience is required although full training is given on site

An in date RTITB or ITSSAR counterbalance licence is an essential requirement of the role
