Senior Administrator / Trouble shooter, Engineering Administration


MUST BE A DRIVER DUE TO LOCATION

Location:
Gomshall


Salary:
£12.50 to £13.50 per hour (£25,000 to £27,000 p/a)


The Role:
Our client is looking for a highly organised and proactive administrator. Someone who will anticipate problems, get ahead of the issue and prevent problems from happening.

This is a busy engineering department and you will be liaising with customers regarding deliveries and timeframes / engineers. You must be able to work with multiple priorities and deadlines. Great organisation skills and calmness under pressure will makeyou successful in this position. You will need to take the initiative and make things happen.

  • Servicing reminders
  • Phone calls and correspondence with clients
  • Recording and coordinating technical enquiries
  • Procurement, recording and management of parts & stock
  • Schedule and coordinate Engineers activities
  • Reporting
  • Coordination of subcontractors (insurance, scheduling, purchase invoicing, accreditation)
  • Administration of existing contracts with clients
  • Ensuring compliance with accreditation schemes
  • Supporting the Engineering Lead in all daytoday engineering activities
Desirable Skills

  • Awareness of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to react/adapt to problems as they present themselves
  • Proficient in Fergus software an advantage
