About the role:


Haringey's Strategic Procurement Team are looking for four Purchasing Officers to join a newly re-structured team at a time of significant and exciting change.

Three Purchasing Officers will sit within the Works category and one in the Health and Care category.

Purchasing Officers will primarily undertake low value procurement's in accordance with Council policies, statutory and regulatory requirements and manage procurement activity to best practice standards, to maximise and maintain the efficiency of the procurement process and ensure value for money outcomes.

Additionally, the post holders will be expected to identify opportunities for improved strategic and value improvement of procured supplies and services and make change recommendations to Heads of Supply Chain.


About you:

You will have an attention to detail and good IT proficiency.

You will need to be flexible in your approach as you will be required to provide additional support across different work-streams as and when required.
