Part time Intervention teacher


Location:
Wigan


Start date:

ASAP

Pay:
£120 - £140 per day (DOE)
Do you want to be instrumental in the improvement of pupil attainment outcomes?
Can you inspire children who may be disengaged with learning?

You will work closely with a select group of pupils to give more intense focus on maths, english and science based work to complement their usual class work.

We would recommend this Wigan based intervention teacher role for an ECT/ NQT looking for teaching experience or an experienced teacher looking to scale back from a full class and work with pupils in more need of additional support.


  • A clear, child only, enhanced DBS check (or be willing to invest in one)
  • A recognised teaching qualification
  • To be able to be creative with your teaching delivery
  • To be able to manage a range of abilities and behaviours


This is a very rewarding role, where you will get a great sense of achievement and will be helping to make the prospects of lower attaining pupils much better.
