Service Charge Officer Job type - Full time, permanentSalary - £35,235 per annumHours - 35 hours per week (+ 5 hours paid lunch)Location - HYBRID - Regular travel to Birmingham & Nottingham

Who we are looking for?


This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has experience of working in the social housing sector and would like a new challenge.

You should have knowledge of how rents and service charges are set in a regulated environment.


We are looking for someone to join our busy team in delivering a rent and service charge setting service for Nacro's supported housing and to maintain and develop a clear model and methodology for setting and reviewing rent and service charges.

You will need to be an experienced user of the Microsoft Office programs, in particular Excel.


Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Work with the Management Information team to develop and maintain an effective and efficient system to collate and process Operational costs/spend to feed into accurate rent and service charges.


Work closely with Finance team to ensure accurate data is recorded and where necessary carry out cleansing of financial data used for setting charges.

Manage the Rent Setting inbox daily, ensuring that communication with internal and external stakeholders is managed effectively.

Take responsibility for maintaining any information and records held by the Rent Setting team in a clear folder structure

A full driving license and access to a car for business use is desirable for this role.

DBS check will be required for this role.
