Description
Pentagon Transport in Immingham are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join the Warehouse team.


The Warehouse Operative will maintain the smooth running of the warehouse, assisting in the receiving and dispatching of freight into and out of the Warehouse and yard and ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained as well as maintaining warehouse administration.

The Warehouse Operative is responsible for (but not limited to) the following:


  • Picking, packing and labelling of goods
  • Consolidating, repacking and weighing freight
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles either by hand or using a manual pump truck, counterbalance forklift or ramp
  • Practicing good housekeeping, and maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse
  • Warehouse administration including tracking trailers and updating position record, booking MOT and services for fleet
  • Adhere to company health & safety, and compliance
  • Use of forklift (both counterbalance and reach).

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous warehousing experience
  • A willingness to learn and develop
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Forklift license
  • Current unrestricted driving license
