Role Description

We are on the hunt for an ambitious Category Executive to join our dynamic, fast paced and forward looking Fresh Meals business at our offices in Staines and sites in West London.

We are one of the largest chilled World Foods Meals supplier in the UK and are recognised in the industry as best in class for Category Development.

Reporting into the Senior Category Manager, you will get an exciting and unique breadth of category exposure, shadow and support across a number of key retail partner accounts.

You will have the main responsibility to ensure the internal category team excel brilliantly at the basics.

This role is a Hybrid role and you will be required to be in the office 3 days a week - mainly at site (Windmill Lane/Dean Way) or Staines.

Capability Requirements
As category executive you will have one year's experience within an FMCG business. Experience in own label food is preferable but not essential.

You will be comfortable and thrive working cross functionally to drive category growth agenda and adapt well to change, especially when presented with new tasks/challenges.

Ability to collate and deliver data and facts to support the category team agenda, drawing on different data sources as well as able to disseminate and understand a wise range of information sources.

Of graduate-calibre from business, marketing or finance although we are open to those who have not gone through the traditional higher education route.

You will have excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, along with sound analytical and numeracy skills. You will require a driver's license as you will be required to visit site and customers regularly.
