The Company cleverly integrates traditional boatbuilding skills with innovative engineering and modern techniques to build vessels of the highest quality.

We now require full-time experienced
GRP Finishers to come and join our team working 07.00am-17.30pm Monday-Thursday (40 hours per week).

Job description

The role of
GRP Finisher includes the following:

Finishing and preparing hulls, decks and various boat line components
Working within a small team ensuring production targets are met whilst maintaining an impeccable standard of workmanship
Preparing moulds and trimming

Essential skills

Polishing components
Gelling skills
Prepping moulds
Snagging worked components
Have the ability to read and understand drawings
Show a coachable and positive attuite, with a desire to pursue perfection
Ability to manage your time efficiently
Able to work well within a team
Produce work in a clean and productive manner

Location

The usual place of work for this role is Falmouth either at Ponsharden - The Southwest Shipyard or former Vospers site.

Salary
A competitive and negotiable hourly rate of £12 to £16, dependent on experience.
