Bath ASU produces around 2,000 aseptically compounded injectable pharmaceutical products each day for hospitals and patients across the UK who are fighting cancer, living with chronic disease or in need of pain relief.

Your role


You will be responsible for supporting with the co-ordination and administration of the Environment, Health and Safety processes for the Pharmaxo Group organization.


You will help the preparation of an effective EHS management system that, in time will reflect the requirements of ISO 14001 and ISO This will include maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 documented management systems and processes to be effective and internally & externally audit-ready.


You will provide administration support for the EHS function and EHS Manager, able to manage document creation and revision, and records properly, to register all procedures, EHS training, work instructions and forms.


You will assist with the risk assessments, inspection and audit preparation and subsequent action tracking to achieve continual improvement a positive EHS culture and a legally compliant operation.

You will manage and deliver a timely, accurate, and team-focused service to support the wider business.


Your duties & responsibilities

  • To liaise with colleagues from across the organisation to facilitate the preparation, issue, review, and revision of EHS risk assessments.
  • To support with the organisation, preparation and delivery of the EHS Committee meetings, preparation of the minutes and action tracking.
  • To coordinate with other members across the company to assist with various projects as required by the EHS Manager
  • Manage EHS administrative activities (manage documents and proper recording, register SOPs & work instructions and forms within EHS scope.
  • Act as a support function for administration of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
  • Maintain Training Matrix within Online learning system.
  • Provide safety induction to new employees.
  • Prepare any materials in relation to EHS programs run throughout the site.
  • Support the EHS Manager and undertake other tasks specific to this role.
  • Administrate and support systems ensuring compliance with all management system standards, ACoPs and legal requirements.
  • Document Control and Record Keeping
  • Data Entry using MS Suite, online Systems and other databases.
