What it's like to work here:Farnborough Halls landscaped gardens are surrounded by an important Grade 1 listed parkland, which was designed in the 18c by William Holbech on his return from a long tour in Italy.

The Green Terrace is over a mile long and is an important feature set out to the west with a laurel hedge way scalloped with bastions and planted with Lime trees providing beautiful views across the parkland to the Double planted Oak Avenue, cascade, and serpentine, with temples and a hidden obelisk at the extremity, the latter were designed by a local gentleman architect Sanderson Miller.

The missing parkland avenues were planted in 2015 as part of the recent H L Stewardship scheme along with restoration work to the nearby water features and woodland areas, although this was only a small part of the restoration work to the Parkland features.
