Buyer - Bradford - Permanent - Up to £30,000 + Bonus + CIPS


Chase & Holland are thrilled to be working with an innovative and ever-growing Manufacturing business as they look to recruit a new Buyer to join their team due to growth.

As Buyer, you will be working within Materials Management and have the ongoing support of an established Procurement Team.

You will need to be driven, experienced within a Manufacturing setting and have the skills to negotiate and assist with driving cost savings.

Buyer Responsibilities:


  • Control materials from suppliers in order to meet customer project OTIF
  • Maintain requirements of the customer and uninterrupted service
  • Liaising with other members of the business to provide delivery updates and expedited orders
  • Maintain supplier relationships, lead negotiations of agreements whilst maintaining price, quality, and lead times
  • Report and keep data in an accurate manner this includes Primary (supplier data) Transactional (PO's and receipts) and Stock Integrity

Hours:
Full time Monday to Friday


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Previous experience working within a Manufacturing industry (desirable)
  • Intermediate level Excel knowledge
  • Full driving license
