Day shift am-04.30pm Mon-Thurs, Fridays.

1. Main Responsibilities

Running starting operations ancillary ops (Projection Weld & Steel Stamper)
Ensuring quality standards are met including threads free of spatter, stamp location, concentricity of nuts etc
Ability to adjust the machine parameters to produce desired results
Carrying out preventative maintenance on projection welder and stamper
Engaging in 5S and continuous improvement projects within Starting Operations
Supporting the Starting Operations department in other production tasks where required _dressing, bending, laser operation. Potential to learn new processes and progress within the business._
An understating, interest and enthusiasm for manufacturing and engineering in practical terms
The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
The ability to use inspection equipment to selfverify own work
Can fully understand and meaningfully contribute to discussion and decisions within the starting operations team
Selfmotivated
Effective communicator
Can make accurate judgements and identify appropriate courses of action to address problems as they arise
Innovative and proactive problemsolving

3. Desired experience and qualifications

Salary:
£10.08-£10.34 per hour
