Responsibilities
We are now recruiting for a
Senior Coordinator to join our Telecoms team to oversee the Programme Coordinators within the business across the five cities, ensuring that the Coordinators are scheduling the appropriate amount of work for the operational delivery teams daily within Kier on the CityFibre contract.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Overseeing the Programme Coordinators across the Worcester, Weston Super-Mare, Bath, Cheltenham, and Gloucester areas and ensuring the effective scheduling of the daytoday works in line with the yearly programme glide, and managing any escalations raised by the coordinators.
- Attend regular conference calls and meetings with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes, minimise issues, and work collaboratively to increase delivery and consistently capture and log measures from Supervisors.
- Managing the planning of appropriate amount of works within the requirements of those set out in the productivity reports (daily gang outputs, value vs hours) and make time critical decisions to minimise delivery fallout due to onday/short notice limitations or issues which arise, and reschedule works where required.
- Liaising with direct operational teams, Sub-Contractors and Supervisors to manage adhoc queries and requests and ensure the effective updates of internal and client street level trackers to ensure that the latest job information is visible to client and internal staff

- Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office in particular Excel
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbally
- Must be an excellent organiser with proven time management skills
- Experience Managing a team
