Administrator (Fixed Term)
Salary:
£26,500 per annum, plus Veolia benefits and pension
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
8:00AM - 4:30PM (30-minute unpaid break)
Contract Length:
Fixed-term contract for 8 months (Maternity cover)

Moat Lane Depot, Moat Lane, Solihull, B91 2LW

- Ensure that all messages are passed on to the relevant supervisors/manager
- Accurately process invoices, purchase orders and monitor deliveries
- Ensure the accurate inputting of payroll
- Prepare any standard letters following HR (Human Resources) processes
- Take effective notes, minutes of meetings etc
- Ensure contract safety paperwork is up to date
- Participate in contract and staff meetings
- Be the first point of contact for members of the public regarding queries or complaints about domestic waste collections, as well as directly interfacing with the client
- Feedback to the primary customer (the council) on progress on work instructions and reporting of complaint resolutions
- Assist Contract manager with preparation of monthly accounts reporting
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Good verbal, literacy & numerical skills
- Administration / clerical experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Financial experience or, as a minimum, dealing with Excel spreadsheets
- Microsoft Office IT skills
- Experience with mims, wims, sage and various other software packages
- Good time management skills
- Good customer service skills
