Sage Gateshead's Make Music programme are looking for experienced and engaging musicians to lead on weekly family music making sessions in our Gregg's Children's Room.

Fridays:


Baby Love for families with pre-crawling babies - 1.15pm - 2.30pm (1 musician)**
Saturdays:
Loud & Clear for Adoptive families with children aged am am (2 musicians)**
The Kids are Alright for families with children aged am pm (2 musicians)**
In this role you will lead whole family music making, encouraging families to engage and enjoy, nurture relationships and build confidence whilst introducing them to the foundations of music.

You will also encourage individuals to progress into other Make Music sessions and/or other opportunities throughout the region.

  • Be an experienced early years/family music leader
  • Be experienced/interested in whole family engagement
  • Attend team/partner meetings and training on dates to be agreed
  • Be creative, reliable and an enjoy working as part of a team
  • Understand equality, diversity and inclusion in a musical context.

Working pattern and pay:


  • Baby Love sessions will take place on Fridays, 1:15pm 2:30pm at Sage Gateshead in the Gregg's Children's Room.
  • Loud & Clear Adoptive sessions will take place on Saturdays, 10:00am 11:15am at Sage Gateshead in the Gregg's Children's Room.
  • The Kids are Alright sessions will take place on Saturdays, 11:30am 12:45pm at Sage Gateshead in the Gregg's Children's Room.
  • Term time only, with 10 weeks per term plus a half term break in between
  • SCP 28
