Description

Industrial Recruitment Solutions Limited (IRS) are urgently recruiting a
Stock controller for our clients' small offices based in
West Bromwich.


This role will be full-time, temporary, and leading to permanent employment for the right applicant.


The job will consist of:


  • Maintaining and updating daily shipment records, as well as purchases and pricing reports.
  • Overseeing stock storage processes, including tagging, boxing, and labeling.
  • Maintaining a steady flow of stock from storage to where it is needed. Performing regular inventory audits and keeping stock purchasing within budget.
  • Forecasting supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running outofstock (OOS).
  • Evaluating vendors and suppliers' offers and negotiating profitable purchase prices.
  • After sales/sales

Skills required:


  • Attention to detail and good numeracy skills
  • Self-Motivated, punctual and flexible approach to learning new skills
  • Able to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in warehouse work
  • Computer Literate

Working hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
