Description
The ideal Freight Account Manager who will be reporting into the Sales Manager/Director will have the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Analyse business performance and identify new opportunities to maximise profit margins.
  • Generating leads, customer appointment arrangements and cold calling.
  • Maintaining and developing existing accounts whilst identifying new business opportunities.
  • Coordination of Freight movements via Air, Sea and Road.
  • Handling Operational aspects of Import and Export movements including requesting customs clearance.
  • Liaising with Internal and External teams
  • Commute to Manchester

Profile
The ideal Freight Account Manager will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Hands on Freight forwarding experience within Air,Sea or Road.
  • Understanding of Import/Export processes and procedures
  • Freight Account Management Experience
  • Commercial understanding and business acumen to identify opportunities
  • Great Organisation and Planning skills
  • Great Communication skills at all levels.
  • Commute to Manchester
