EXCITING NEW SERVICE IN CRIEFF

Various full time and part time contracts available, shift pattern will be a mixture of day hours from 8am - 10pm and waking night from 10pm-8am

Driving License

Let us introduce you to Fergus**:
Fergus is 29 years old and likes to be kept busy.

People that know him would say that he has a great sense of humour, a great big smile and a cheeky side.

He is a friendly person who likes to be active and enjoys activities in and around his home and community.

He particularly enjoys cooking and baking with his Personal Assistant and likes helping with jobs around his home.

Fergus has very close relationships with his family, particularly mum and siblings. He requires his PA to support him on visits home to the family farm. He enjoys visiting animals and undertaking light manual work in the community. Fergus also enjoys going for walks and out for runs in the car. He also loves going for a hot chocolate and cake

A UK drivers license and confidence in driving a car is advantageous. Fergus has his own mobility car which will be available to all ENABLE staff working with him.

Fergus has complex and specific communication needs which impact on all aspects of his life.

He will require his Personal Assistant to support him in maintaining independence and dignity in all aspects of his life.

You should be committed, reliable, motivated, proactive, creative and enthusiastic as well as adaptable.

You must also have a positive and flexible outlook to your work and be able to work on your own and as part of a team.

An understanding of person-centred values are key to supporting Fergus to plan and work towards his outcomes. Flexibility is required as the hours of work may vary. Experience is desirable although not essential, only the right attitude and values are essential.


Fergus receives support 7 days a week usually between the hours of 8am and 10pm with 2 Personal Assistants and then has 1 Personal Assistant as an waking night.

Sadly, it's not always possible for Fergus to enjoy what many people would consider these 'simple pleasures' without proper, dedicated support.
