Description

Are you an experienced dispatch operative looking for more responsibility? Or are you a team leader looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Our reputable client based in Nottingham are looking to hire a dispatch team leader to join their business and provide supervisory support and guidance to their team.

This is a hands on leadership role.

You will be required to be involved within all aspects of what your team deliver, and ensure all work is completed accurately, within set time frames.

To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:

GCSEs or equivalent in Maths & English
Pallet truck certificate or willingness to train
Previous experience in packing processes, picking stock & working with serial numbers
Experience in leading a team and working towards KPIs
Ability to manage team performance and carrt out performance reviews
Excellent attention to detail and a problem solver
Ability to manage time and priotise workload
Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Within this position, you'll be:

Taking full operational responsibility for the packing function
Delivering peak performance by ensuring team are fully engaged
Leading, communicating and solving problems
Managing perfomance by setting goals and reviewing them
Assigning tasks by estabilishing priorities and monitoring them against KPIs
Ensuring all tasks undertaken by the team comply with health and safety policy and procedures
Ensuring all products are picked correctly against requirements and packed correctly
Checking packaging supplies regularly and replenishing when required
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring pallets are stored correctly and safely

**Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday

25 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off
