Overview
2fawcett have an exciting opportunity for a career driven Buyer to join a successful business based in Leicester.

Requirements of the Buyer

Sourcing globally, ensuring best market value
Rationalise suppliers, building a manageable vendor portfolio
Introducing robust processes to ensure they are maximising cost saving opportunities.
Working closely with all departments to ensure materials and parts are correctly sourced in line with technical specifications
Ensuring stock availability whilst maintaining safety stock levels in line with order book
Negotiating costs and SLA's in line with business requirements
Minimum 3 years Procurement experience
Ideally CIPS qualified
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong negotiation skills
Have the ability to influence and drive best practice
Be confident in communicating at all levels and willing to deal with end to end purchasing including administrative tasks
The ability build collaborative supplier relationships, ensuring quality, cost and lead times are in line with business objectives
Experience of working with international supplier would be advantageous
Ability to negotiate and agree contractual terms
