The appointed person will receive significant support from the Trust and will work as part of the central collaborative team who all share the same beliefs and work towards a common goal.

As Site Operative you will report to the Trust Site Manager and will have responsibility for specific caretaking tasks and for specific areas of the school, but can expect to assist the site manager in the full range of caretaker and cleaning duties and anywhere in the school or trust as required by operational needs.

We operate a central site time and you will be working in any of our four Trust school.

We are looking for someone who is a team player and understands the importance of clean and safe environments in an educational context.

You will be approachable, solution focussed and feel confident working in a physically demanding role.

In return we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to work in a rewarding environment where our decision making is centred around the outcomes for children
  • Committed, strong and supportive collaborative team and senior leadership
  • A commitment to ensuring equality across the organisation
  • A commitment to professional development opportunities.
  • A health and wellbeing service that offers physiotherapy, 24 hour phone and video GP service, private medical operations and counselling services amongst others.
  • Local Government Career Average Pension scheme with 18% employer contribution

We are committed to inclusivity and will consider requests for flexible working including part time and job share arrangements, where the role allows.

We are committed to promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of all our staff.
