Location:

Hours: 35 hrs per week: Flexible working options considered with a minimum 3 days on site at Coram's Fields.

Coram's Fields is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Fundraising Officer to join our team.

In this newly created role, you will work alongside our Fundraising Manager to help further diversify and grow our fundraised income, with a particular focus on trusts, foundations, corporates and community fundraising.

For over 85 years, Coram's Fields has provided a safe haven for children and young people in London, through its unique seven-acre park and playground, and range of community services, including a nursery and under 5s drop in, play service, community sports and youth programme.

The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on our finances, and as with many charities, the current cost of living crisis has only added to the pressures we face.

However, despite this, as an organisation we have remained resilient and we are now looking to further invest in our fundraising team to help build a more sustainable income base for the charity.

As this is a new role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and shape our future fundraising plans, to ensure that we can continue to provide vital support to the thousands of children and families that use our park and services each year.

The majority of our fundraising income comes from Trusts and Foundations, and we are fortunate to have a pool of loyal funders who support our work.

We aim to maximise this income by cultivating our warm prospects and retaining existing supporters by improving our donor stewardship model.

Additionally, the expansion of our corporate partnership programme and major donor programme, will be key to our future success, as will fostering growth in individual and regular giving.

As the Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising activities that meet our income targets, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and creating compelling proposals and fundraising materials.

You will support and work closely with our Fundraising Manager, who is currently the only other member of the fundraising team, actively supported by the CEO.

Please note that applicants must have the right to work in the UK in order to apply.
