Equifind have teamed up with a family office who are looking to hire a new finance manager into the business in London.

This is a great opportunity to take full ownership of the finances for the group and play an important part in mapping out the business for the years ahead.

You will work closely with the entity accountants across the business and be the main finance personat group level.

Key duties and responsibilities for this finance manager position in London include:

Prepare the financial statements for the group
Oversee all entity accountants work as information is fed up into the group
Prepare all UK VAT returns for the company
Prepare the monthly management accounts for all group companies
Be responsible for corporation tax returns
Prepare the cash flow and manage cash
Prepare the budget and forecasts for the group
Lead the annual audit and be the main point of contact
Ad hoc tasks as and when required

Experience & Qualifications

A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience with 10+ years' experience
Strong working knowledge of consolidations and multicurrencies
Knowledge of reporting under IFRS and UK GAAP
Experience of working in a family office is beneficial
Experience of SAGE line 50 or Quickbooks
Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet deadlines
Language skills is desirable

This is a very professional working environment in which communication is key, so you must have a strong voice and be willing to immerse yourself in the business to be a success.

This will be London office based for starters to get you up to speed quickly but will offer a flexible approach in the future when you have a strong knowledge of the business operations.

Salary

This exciting opportunity for a finance manager will pay between £60k-£75k per annum depending on your experience and background.

We are looking for the right character for this opportunity so will look at all notice periods.
