LITTLE EXPLORERS MONTESSORI NURSERY

Position:
Nursery Practitioner - bank staff


Little Explorers Montessori Nursery is seeking a dedicated Bank Staff Nursery Practitioner to join our team in central Cambridge.


Our nursery caters to up to 20 preschool children aged 1 to 4, operating Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm.



Working Hours


The Nursery Practitioner Bank Staff will work hours scheduled weekly in alignment with nursery requirements, within the hours of Monday to Friday from 7:20am to 3:30pm.


Initially, we require 2 to 3 days a week of commitment, subject to change. The role also includes covering annual leave and absences.



Salary:
£11.44 per hour


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliver high-quality care, education, and experiences for all children.
  • Oversee indoor and outdoor play, ensuring children's safety and well-being.
  • Assist during mealtimes with close supervision of children.
  • Set a positive example for children and staff, promoting best practices and interactions.
  • Maintain clear communication with the team to meet children's needs.
  • Implement and adhere to policies and procedures diligently.
  • Collaborate with the team to complete daily tasks and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Support children with meals and personal hygiene as necessary.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions for professional growth.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification in relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience with children aged 0 to 5.
  • Strong communication skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Training in Child Protection.
  • Familiarity with EYFS and Montessori environments.
