Learning Hive are looking for
Holiday Camp Staff for our exciting Summer Camp Programme

*Please note this position is for July-August*The camp runs Monday 24th July - Thursday 17th August, Mondays-Thursdays (4 weeks), 9am-1pm.

Camp staff will be responsible for assisting their Camp Lead with all and any jobs during camp.

This includes acting as form tutor for a group, taking registers, assisting with toilet breaks, setting up lunches, playground duty and occasionally delivering pre-planned activities like arts & crafts.

This position is for someone looking for rewarding, challenging and fun work for the holidays, looking to further their career in the childcare or tutoring industry.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting providers delivering the workshops & Encouraging children to engage in the activities and have fun
  • Always behave in a manner that reflects the expectations of Learning Hive, liaising with students, parents and colleagues as necessary.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care, including all health and safety, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Continuously promote the welfare of the children in your care.
  • Attending key training dates prior to camp undertaking.
  • A great team player, supporting your colleagues, bringing enthusiasm to our programme.
  • Show the required energy, enthusiasm and professionalism for the duration of the role, acting as an ambassador for Learning Hive and behaving as a suitable role model for children.
  • Other adhoc duties (lunch prep, cleaning, equipment, admin).

Essential requirements
-
Loves working with children:


  • Prior experience working with children aged between 511 years old.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • An enthusiastic, energetic individual, passionate about working with, and developing children through play and activity.
  • Good organisation and communication skills.
  • A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges onsite

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 4 weeks

Part-time hours: 16 per week

£11.00 per hour
