2fawcett are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our client based in Doncaster.

Responsibilities of the Stock Controller:

Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are properly managed.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor stock movements, including receiving, issuing, and transferring goods.
Collaborate with various departments to coordinate stock replenishment and ensure optimal levels are maintained.
Implement and maintain efficient stock control systems and processes.
Identify and report any stock variances, damages, or quality issues.
Generate regular reports on stock levels, movements, and trends.
Conduct analysis to identify potential risks and suggest appropriate solutions.
Assist in the development and implementation of stock control policies and procedures.
Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements of the Stock controller:

Previous experience as a Stock Controller or similar role is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
Knowledge of stock control best practices and inventory management principles.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
