We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established engineering / production company to help support the increased demand in production.

You will be joining a prestigious steel manufacturing company who offer a stable business with future growth plans.

As a Production Operative reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be working in a heavy engineering environment that is a busy, physically demanding and a fast-paced environment and you will be using your initiative to get the job done.

Your day-to-day duties as a Production Operative will include:

Ensuring that all machines on-site are running efficient and effectively.
Running multiple machines at once.
Loading and Unloading machines.
Reporting any production / machining issues.
Accurately recording on a job sheet the machines performed.
Working to production targets.

This role would be ideal for someone with a production operative, machine operator, machinist or general operative background within an engineering, production or manufacturing environment or labourer.

33 days hol including bank holidays increasing to 37 alongside length of service.
