What will you be doing?


You will be part of a Business Performance & Digital Transformation Team of technical, innovative and strategic thinking people that all work effectively both as a team and individually.


You will be closely aligned to our large operational contracts, providing business modelling support on large scale operational changes that are on the horizon.

You will be developing operational models to allow management to understand the impact of thesechanges, and allow our finance colleagues to produce the necessary financial outputs.

With all our data accessible through SQL, proficiency in this skillset is useful, but not essential.


Innovative thinking is promoted and you will be given opportunities to present your ideas to your manager as well as your dotted-line operational colleagues.


Some of the key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:**- Operational modelling - developing models for the movement of waste around our networks.

  • Develop, generate and present reports to senior management, operations, technical and support teams
  • Enhance operational performance and decision making through the analysis of operational data
  • Be able to communicate technical solutions to nontechnical people.
  • Site visits to understand the details of operations.

What are we looking for?

  • Highlevel working knowledge of MS Excel/G-Suite
  • Good problemsolving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both up and down within the organisation
  • The ability to analyse complex datasets and provide recommendations on improvement areas.
  • High level of resilience and capability to work well within wider teams in a matrix organisation.

Desirable:


  • A working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Power Query
