The role
As a Proposal Writer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.

You will be a critical part of the wider Bid Team, helping us submit compelling, high-scoring, compliant responses that make it easy for customers to appoint Babcock.

Facilitate the storyboarding process of proposal documents, producing compelling, compliant, and impactful storyboards and mockups that effectively incorporate defined win themes
Ensure mockups and response documents clearly articulate both features and benefits, and how this translates into value for the customer
Work with SMEs to turn technical jargon and ambiguous language in to clear, concise, and tangible content
Ensure written proposals align to the requirements and guiding policy set by the proposal strategy
Assist in the development and capture of win themes specific to each deliverable, ensuring these tie back to the proposal strategy and overall value proposition

This role is full time, permanent and is fully remote.

There is a requirement to travel periodically within the UK to a range of locations supporting bids and delivering business across various internal and customer sites, as and when required.

Essential experience of the Proposal Writer:

Experience of effective proposal writing on large, complex, and strategic bids
Experience of Shipley proposal practices (or similar)
Good time management and organisational skills

Qualifications for the Proposal Writer:

Educated to degree level.
APMP qualification preferred
