We are looking for a Janitor to join the Westminster team.
The service provides support to vulnerable women and you will be joining an exciting new team where you will play a vital role in providing janitorial services within the building and surrounding parameters.
The role will involve carrying out duties such as general maintenance and repair, cleaning, stock taking, gardening. You will be responsible for safe working practices; performing regular Health and Safety and compliance checks of the building.Other duties include recording and reporting on completed work within the buildings and ensuring that the maintenance of the buildings comply with all Health and Safety regulations.

We are looking for a pro-active and committed individual who has a genuine interest and commitment to the aims of St Mungo's and our client group.
- Experience and proven ability in basic maintenance skills and the ability to manage a physically demanding workload.
- An understanding of Health and Safety issues and procedures.
- Some understanding of the issues faced by homeless or vulnerably housed people.
- The ability to cope with clients who may display challenging behaviour.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
