Matron Band 8a - Specialty Medicine

Speciality Medicine are seeking an experienced enthusiastic person to work and be part of the senior nursing team within the Specialty Medicine Division.

The role presents an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, dynamic and motivated individual to lead and develop the nursing teams and to improve the care pathways for our medical patients and work closely with the Divisional Director of Nursing team, and our other matrons.

This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with the established multi-disciplinary team to provide efficient and excellent care to our patients.

You will also work alongside the wider Divisional Management team and be involved in decision making and promoting nursing in our Division.

You will have excellent leadership skills and the knowledge required to help the Division deliver its Quality Improvement agenda.

You will represent the Division at meetings, capacity meetings and at times represent the Divisional Director of Nursing in strategic meetings.
