ASAP - July 2023

£90 - £100 daily rate

Full time - Term time

Are you a compassionate and dedicated teaching assistant with experience working with students with complex needs?

SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a young boy who is 4 with complex needs that are trauma-related.

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the social and academic development of the student. You will work closely with the experienced SEN team within school to provide targeted interventions and establish support programs.

You will work directly with the student to provide one-to-one support, using a variety of strategies to help him in managing behaviour and engaging positively in his learning.

This pupil responds well to praise and is verbal, but can engage in destructive play at times.

You will be responsible for managing this behaviour effectively, and for working closely with the student and their parents to ensure that their needs are met in a supportive and nurturing environment.

To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience working with students with complex needs, including trauma-related behaviour or SEMH.

You should have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

You should also have a passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
