The Company


Brewster Partners are excited to be working on an Assistant Accountant position for a large PLC group within the manufacturing sector.

This company are located in Barnsley with a group turnover of £70m.

The main purpose of the role is to provide accountssupport within the Finance Department together with other administrative support tasks.


The Role

  • Daily Posting of Sales Ledger Cash
  • Daily posting of Sales Invoices and Credit Notes
  • Submission of daily and weekly figures to Receivables Finance
  • Assisting with annual Credit Limit review in line with Credit Insurance policy
  • Organise incoming invoices
  • Process invoices using a purchase order processing 3way matching system
  • Sole responsibility for Daily Sales Report
  • Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as required

ThePerson

  • Experience and confident in all aspects of transactional finance
  • AAT studier would be ideal
  • Hard worker and reliable
  • Be able to work with Microsoft Word and excel
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Strong organisation skills
