£35,000-£40,000 plus full study support package

Overview


Reporting to the Finance Controller in this leading property company, you will assist in the production of management accounts, VAT returns, expenditure analysis, as well as other ad-hoc projects.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts for 5 companies
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
  • Cost analysis of service charge expenditure
  • Monthly analysis of profit and loss
  • Assist FC with accruals and prepayments
  • Weekly bank reconciliations

Your Background

  • Studying towards CIMA / ACCA or fully qualified AAT (MAAT)
  • Good working knowledge of accruals based accounting
  • Previous experience with management accounts and VAT an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Good people and communication skills
