Who we are looking for:

Atkore are seeking a Logistics Administrator to join the logistics team, based in West Bromwich.

Reporting into the Logistics Manager, this role will be responsible for processing Goods in / out inventory, maintaining and updating stock inventory and other administrative duties.

Will be required to liaise with transport companies and book in deliveries with customers. The role requires a high level of accuracy in processing data.


What you'll do:


  • Dealing with all office administration for a Warehouse & Logistics function.
  • Liaising with Transport companies on deliveries.
  • Daily communication with Customers.
  • Data entry and attention to detail.
  • Dealing with dispatch and receipt operations.
  • Dealing with customers and follow up on requests and orders, answering enquires.
  • Update customers on orders and create spreadsheets.
  • Complete KPIs and measure delivery service to customers.
  • Liaise with internal departments.
  • Book in goods in deliveries.
  • Booking in Customer deliveries.

What you bring:


  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Minimum 1 years' experience in Admin duties and data entry
  • Excellent telephone manner with the ability to build good customer relationships whilst offering great service
  • Ability to create a good business awareness of the territory that you are responsible for
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be proactive and innovative whilst showing flexibility
  • Great motivation for self and others.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Can use both Word and Excel
  • Ability to demonstrate influencing skills


Hours of work will be 37 hours per week on Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am - 4.

Salary £25,000 - £27,000
