Textiles/Food Technology Teacher

Textiles or Food Technology Teacher required for an Academy School - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire - January 2023 Start - Long term Contract - MPS 1 to - Teaching Textiles or Food Technology up to KS- GCSE and/or A-level experience required


Tradewind are proud to work with this academy based in High Wycombe, the schools SLT have asked us to appoint a new DT Teacher to join their growing department teaching to KS5.

This post will start in January 2023 with a 1 term minimum starting contract


DT Teacher with either Textiles or Food Technology as a specialism - High Wycombe

January 2023 start - Long-term contract with possible extension

Paid in line with Teacher Main Pay Scale, MPS 1 to 6 (£145 to £210.00 per day)

All staff receive excellent support in the form of in-class LSA's, CPD and career progression

Role requirements

  • QTS Teacher or unqualified Teacher with Masters (MSc) level qualification
  • Effieicently prepare and present lessons in line with the national curriculum and the departments scheme of work
  • Must have prior experience teaching Food Technology and Textiles
  • A responsible mindset, ensuring the promotion of safety and welfare of all students in the school
  • Be enthusiastic, passionate and all round professional in every aspect of your work
