An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and proactive individual to become part of a busy but friendly team on Tarver Haemodialysis Ward.
We provide an outpatient service for people with acute and Chronic Kidney failure in the form of Haemodialysis. We open Monday to Saturday from 07:00 until 19:30. We are closed on Sundays, Christmas day and New Year Day.
The role lends itself to an individual with a great deal of initiative ,someone who enjoys a busy varied environment and someone who thrives on helping others.
Book Transport for the dialysis patients in Tarver Dialysis; Trouble shoot transport problems as required.
To liaise with patients on a weekly basis for their transports needs and to remind them of the date and time of the procedures.
Reception and booking in of dialysis attendees, alerting the nursing team of the need for immediate attention for patients who appear unwell on arrival.
The Trust comprises four hospitals - the John Radcliffe Hospital, Churchill Hospital and Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Headington and the Horton General Hospital in Banbury.

All staff employed by the OUH Trust have the following key responsibilities:
Staff must decontaminate their hands prior to and after direct patient contact or contact with the patient's surroundings.
Staff members have a duty to attend mandatory infection control training provided for them by the Trust.
Staff members who develop an infection (other than common colds and illness) that may be transmittable to patients have a duty to contact Occupational Health
